Ingredients

  • 8 buttermilk biscuits

  • 1 lb. pork sausage

  • 2 tbsp and 1 tsp. all-purpose flour

  • 2-1/2 c. half & half

  • 1 tbsp. butter

  • 1/8 tsp. thyme

  • 1/8 tsp. rosemary

  • 1/8 tsp. red pepper flakes

  • Black pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Bake buttermilk biscuits on baking sheet, per package instructions.

  2. Use a large saucepan to brown sausage. Plot the grease from the pan using a paper towel.

  3. Add flour, butter, and half & half. Cook on medium-low heat, stirring often, until thickened.

  4. Add thyme, rosemary, red pepper, and black pepper.

  5. Pour gravy over biscuits to serve.
