Ingredients
4 oz. strong whisky
3 oz. boiling water + boiling water to heat mugs
2 tsp. raw sugar
lemon twists, for garnish
Directions
Check the safety precautions listed on the original recipe.
Preheat 2 glass mugs with boiling water, discarding water before making the cocktail.
Clear all flammable materials from mixing area and lay down a damp towel to soak up spills. Keep a fire extinguisher close.
Add whisky, sugar, and boiling water into one of the mugs and ignite with match.
Pour the flaming liquid back and forth between the mugs about 5 times.
Divide the drink between the mugs and extinguish the flames by covering 1 mug with the bottom of the other and then vice versa.
Garnish with a lemon twist.
