Chocolate Chili Mousse

  • blender

  • ramekins or dish of choice, need appx. 7

  • spatula

  • measuring cup

  • measuring spoon

  • bowl for soaking cashews

Ingredients

  • 1 c. raw cashews, pre-soaked and strained

  • 1-1/4 c. coconut cream

  • 1/2 c. maple syrup

  • 3 tbsp. cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp. chili powder

  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp. salt

  • Chili flakes or cocoa nips, optional

Directions

  1. Using blender, mix together all ingredients until smooth.

  2. Divide mixture into your ramekins or dishes. Tap dishes lightly on the counter to flatten the surface.

  3. Refrigerate overnight. Keep refrigerated until just before serving.
