Ingredients
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. yellow cornmeal
2/3 c. granulated sugar
3-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 large egg
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease your cake pan.
Whisk together your flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt in large bowl.
Add milk, vegetable oil, and egg. Whisk until well combined.
Pour batter into cake pan.
Bake 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the pan comes out clean.
Cut into slices before serving.
