Maple Syrup Barbeque Beef

Ingredients

  • 2 lb frozen stew meat

  • 1/3 c. soy sauce

  • 1/3 c. maple syrup

  • 2 tbsp. dried onion flakes (or 1 large onion, peeled & diced)

  • 2/3 c. beef broth

Directions

  1. You can use either a 4 or 6 quart slow cooker, but if using 6 quarts, check your beef at 7 hours as it will cook faster. 

  2. Place everything in your slow cooker. 

  3. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 5-6 hours. If you are home, you can stir after the meat thaws. If not, just stir well before serving. 

  4. When the meat is done cooking, break apart with a fork.
