Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar

  • 1 c. light corn syrup

  • 1/2 c. water

  • 2 c. roasted peanuts, salted

  • 2 tbsp. butter

  • 1-1/2 tsp. soda

  • 1-1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

  1. Line a sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

  5. Add peanuts and stir constantly until it reaches 300°F.

  6. Remove from heat and stir in butter, baking soda, and vanilla immediately. It will foam and change texture.

  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and use a spoon to quickly and carefully spread it into an even layer.

  8. Cool completely before breaking apart and serving. 30 minutes minimum.
